FOUNDER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER | JESSica MARSHALL

Jessica is the area's only interior designer focused on the hospitality industry who has over 20 years of experience in both the UK + the USA. She is also the only interior design that has been voted in as a Board Member for California Restaurant Association.

After graduating from university with a degree in Interior Design, she decided to focus on the hospitality industry due to her experience of San Francisco's vibrant city life + fantastic food venues with an ambiance that made you feel abundant. Interning at HBA led her to a LA company where she did purchasing + project management for luxury hotels, working on projects such as Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. From Intern to Interior Designer to Design Director, she has designed + managed interior projects for Marriott, Hilton, + IHG.

With a desire to work internationally, she lived in England for 8 years, where she got to work throughout the UK, evolving brand interiors for restaurants & bars, both front + back of the house. Some of those brands included Harry Ramsden's, John Lewis restaurants, + Debenham's Cafes. One independent restaurant she helped design was owned by the royal family members, which got nominated for the Restaurant & Bar Awards. Her favorite project was designing a cafe located in an English National Heritage Building Grade I, which was once a crypt in the 13th century turned wine cellar in the 17th century. In 2013 the design received a Cafe Design Society Award.

Currently settled in California, Jessica decided to open Brass Rose to exclusively serve boutique business owners following a dream + looking to build a customer experience through service + atmosphere.
